Claim or remove a listing
AroundSpot builds listings from open data and from what businesses publish on their own websites. We never asked you first, so you get to decide what happens next. If you want your listing gone, we remove it. You do not have to give a reason.
What do you need?
Correct something
Wrong opening hours, an old phone number, a moved address, or a booking link that no longer works.
Email us about thisRemove the listing
You do not want this business listed on AroundSpot. We delete it — no conditions, no questions about why.
Email us about thisThe business has closed
The business is no longer trading, or has moved to a different address.
Email us about thisStop crawling my website
Our crawler already honours robots.txt. If you would rather tell us directly, this does the same thing.
Email us about thisWhat happens next
We reply within one month, which is the deadline set by UK GDPR. In practice most requests are handled much faster than that. For corrections we may ask where the correct information is published so we can verify it; for removals we do not.
Once a listing is removed we keep a minimal record of its identifier so that a future data import does not quietly put it back.
If you would rather not use email
Write to us at the postal address published in our privacy policy.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we would rather you gave us the chance to fix it first.
